The Greats of Craft – a cafe / craft bar in Midtown East is on the lookout for an energetic, friendly, warm, and hard-working experienced Barista to join our team!

We are a community and neighborhood-focused spot with a dedication to the best of craft and artisanal products. We would like to hear from you if you thrive in a fast-paced environment, are a team player and strive to consistently provide an excellent guest experience. Everyone on our small team wears a lot of different hats – sometimes we are bartenders, baristas, barbacks, porters, and everything in between.

The ideal candidate:

You are the embodiment of warm hospitality. We are a neighborhood spot where all are welcome.

You can accomplish tasks in a 1/3 of the time most baristas can. Work with a sense of urgency.

Contributes positively to the team environment, working cohesively with others to deliver exceptional experiences to our guests.

Follows our recipes and presentation standards in a timely manner.

Reliable and hard-working, your teammates and our guests can always count on you.

Maintain an organized and hygienic working environment, cleans routinely, restocks, does what’s required to run a clean, successful shop.

Skills and qualifications:

Minimum one-year experience working in a detail oriented, high-standards cafe / coffee shop operation.

Experience in, and an ability to use a Point of Sale (POS) system.

Fluency with a manual espresso machine, latte art, and all things espresso are preferred, but not required.
