Hi!

We’re Cafe Annicka, a new cafe/restaurant located in greenpoint and we’re looking for a few new faces to join our cafe team! We’re a small speciality coffee shop, so we’re hoping to find people who truly love love coffee and will be excited to make it the best it can be. We are very  focused on customer service and making everyone feel welcome. We have several positions available, including a cafe manager, so please stop by or email if you’re interested.

Barista positions will be part time, 20-30 hours a week, about 10 hour days, so it’s great if you’d rather have more days off but you’ll need to be comfortable standing for long periods.

Requirements include:

• At least 6 months speciality coffee experience. We can provide some training if the right, excited person comes along! (general cafe experience is mandatory though)
• Latte art is a plus but not a must.
• Amazing customer service. Friendly, helpful, and positive.
• Super clean and efficient.
• Responsible and independent, as you will be working mostly on your own.
• Food Handlers certificate or willing to get one within the first 2 months.
• Great music taste!

Barista Compensation: $13.50 + tips

Our Manager will be full time, 30-40 hours a week and will be also working as a barista while handling daily management duties such as ordering, inventory, scheduling etc.

Requirements: all of the above, plus-

• 1 year experience in a management position.
• Knowledge and ability to dial in espresso + train new staff.
• Great attention to detail. Organized and clean.
• Able to multitask and adapt well to change.
• Help a new business grow!
• True passion for coffee, customer service and creating an environment everyone can enjoy.
