Barista / Cashier – Croissant et Café (Upper West Side)

Croissant et Café is an artisan café and micro-bakery opening on the Upper West Side of Manhattan. Our focus is on exceptional coffee, house-made pastries, and warm, thoughtful hospitality.

We are looking for professional, hospitality-driven baristas who take pride in quality and enjoy creating a welcoming experience for guests.

Position Details:

Location: Upper West Side, Manhattan
Start Date: April 20
Schedule: 5 days per week, 8-hour shifts
Operating Hours: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Pay: $20–$25 per hour plus tips, depending on experience and availability

Responsibilities:

Prepare high-quality espresso beverages and coffee drinks
Provide warm, attentive customer service
Operate POS and handle transactions efficiently
Maintain a clean, organized café and service area
Assist with pastry display and product presentation
Support opening and closing procedures

Ideal Candidate:

Previous specialty coffee or café experience preferred
Passion for coffee, food, and hospitality
Friendly, professional, and detail-oriented
Reliable and punctual
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Availability for early morning shifts
