Who We Are
TUCKSHOP is an Australian-owned coffee and toastie café — a nod to our favorite toastie spots back home and a brand-new concept for NYC. Bringing a new slice of Aussie café culture to the West Village, we are keeping things simple, casual, and consistent: great coffee, amazing toasties, and genuine hospitality.
We will be opening our first store on West 11th Street (and it’s a stunner) this coming Winter. It’s an incredibly exciting time to join the team — a chance to help build and shape this brand from the ground up as we expand across the city. You will play a vital role in the success of TUCKSHOP.

Now Hiring: PART-TIME & FULL-TIME BARISTAS / FRONT OF HOUSE ALL-ROUNDERS

We’re looking for friendly, skilled baristas who love great coffee, enjoy a fast-paced café environment, and want to be part of a growing team. You’ll be working on a La Marzocco Linea PB using beans from a top local specialty roaster.

What You’ll Do

• Make consistently excellent espresso, matcha, and specialty drinks
• Provide warm, genuine, efficient service to every guest
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fun bar environment
• Follow drink recipes and quality standards set by the coffee lead
• Assist with FOH duties —taking orders, toasting & wrapping sandwiches, stocking, light cleaning
• Support a smooth service flow during busy periods
• Hold (or be willing to obtain) an NYC Food Handler’s License (is a bonus)

Who You Are

• An experienced barista with 1–2+ years in specialty coffee
• Confident on bar: dialing in, steaming milk, workflow
• Friendly, positive, and calm when it gets busy
• Quality-focused, consistent, and detail-oriented
• A team player who loves good vibes, good food, and great guests
• Curious and creative — you enjoy learning and contributing ideas
• Excited to grow with a new NYC café and be part of something from the ground up
