Boundless Plains Espresso is an independently and female owned café in the Financial District of New York City. Our emphasis is on delivering premium espresso coffee and a delicious selection of fresh, seasonal, nutritious and inventive Australian-style café dishes, all delivered with a smile.

We opened in August 2017 and since then have brought together a small team of friendly and passionate people dedicated to creating excellent coffee and food, an awesome and friendly customer experience, and a great place to work.

We are searching for a friendly, high energy barista who is passionate about premium specialty coffee, great food and friendly customer service. For our coffee program we partner with Counter Culture Coffee and for our espresso program we use the latest La Marzocco Linea PB with Auto-Brew-Ratio scales in the drip tray.

This position is part or full time.

Candidates must:

– have experience in making quality espresso beverages, including dialing in, maintaining consistent espresso extraction and experience in batch brewing;
– be able to consistently perform and produce excellent quality espresso beverages quickly and under pressure;
– have a passion for personalised customer service and developing relationships with customers, as all our baristas must be comfortable with taking customer orders and other aspects of café service;
– be well presented; and
– be a strong team player with an ability to multitask and work with others.
