Location: Drink Lounge and Café – [Crown Heights, Brooklyn]

Position Type:Part Time
Compensation: $17/hr + tips

About Us:

Drink Lounge has been part of the Franklin Ave. strip as a cocktail bar for a decade. In 2024 we expanded our operations to a bar/cafe hybrid.
We pride our expertise in all drinks cocktails and coffee.
In the morning we offer a calm space for people to sit down and work, or enjoy a slow start on the couch – and a vibrant night life full of music and communal banter in the evening to the late night.

We are looking for a barista with a minimum experience of 1 year to raise the bar on our coffee offerings.
Are you passionate about coffee and creative? Do you take pride in your latte art (basic skills required) and love crafting unique, specialty drinks that leave a lasting impression? If so, we want you to join our team, where coffee is more than a beverage — it’s an experience.

Requirements:

We’re searching for an experienced barista who:
* Has 1+ years of barista experience
* Basic interest and knowledge of Specialty Coffee
* Can produce consistent, basic quality latte art
* Is eager to innovate new drink recipes and seasonal offerings
* Works cleanly and efficiently.
* Brings a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and team spirit.

Responsibilities

* Prepare and serve espresso-based drinks and signature house beverages
* Create and maintain quality drinks under pressure
* Collaborate with the team to develop creative, on-brand seasonal drinks and events
* Deliver exceptional customer service and educate guests about our coffee
* Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming café space
