Paloma is seeking an entry level barista-in-training with a great attitude and friendly personality for our Greenpoint locations. Someone who shares our passion for connecting to the community through exceptional coffee, delicious baked goods and warm, personable customer service. This role is perfect for an early-stage barista who wants to take their craft to the next level, with a few years experience at a high-volume specialty shop.

Who we’re looking for:
-Minimum 2, preferably 3-4 years experience in high volume specialty coffee
-Eagerness to learn and adopt our particular coffee program and be a champion its details
-Can maintain composure and efficiency in fast-paced service
-Builds great relationships with coworkers and customers.
-Ability to stay on task at all times.
-Great attention to detail.
-Keeps very clean workspace
-Must have NYC Food Handlers Certificate
-Open availability, flexibility in scheduling

Our starting pay range for a barista-in-training role is $15-16/hr based on demonstrable skills and experience.

Tips for this role are typically an additional $8+ per hour.
