Milk & Pull Coffee Roasters is searching for Barista/Kitchen people with approachable attitudes to work at any of our three locations: Bushwick, Ridgewood and Bed-Stuy

We aim to provide great food and coffee in a friendly, approachable environment. We welcome individuals who thrive in a stable, safe and organized work environment. Our goal is to make everyone feel at home. While applicants with coffee experience are preferred, diversity within our community comes first so we will train those who are love specialty coffee but don’t have extensive experience. A solid work ethic and great communication skills are most important.

Responsibilities include:
Dialing-in coffee and making drinks according to our specialty coffee menu
Educating our customer base on retail offerings and participate in our coffee education program.
Providing hospitable service to patrons and building customer relationships.
Working with a team to serve specialty coffee and food (there are usually three-four people on the floor at a time).
Making bagel/toast sandwiches (the kitchen work is line work-constructing bagels/sandwiches based on our food menu and slicing veggies. No cooking is involved).
Cleaning the cafe and working with store leads/managers to maintain cafe appearance.

Weekends are a requirement and flexible schedules are preferred.
Food handler’s certificates are required within 6 weeks of hiring.
Compensation is hourly: $21-25 hour including tips. Pay and tip distribution is weekly.
Part time and Full time positions are available.
