Merriweather Coffee + Kitchen, an independent Australian-owned specialty coffee cafe in the West Village, is looking for a new barista and front of house specialist! We would love someone who is experienced in specialty coffee and can bring some positive vibes to our cool little spot. Merriweather is owner-operated and has a happy team in a beloved neighborhood cafe!

Barista Position: We are recruiting a skilled barista who wishes to bring their own passion and enthusiasm for coffee and hospitality to a high-volume fun cafe filled with amazing regular customers. You will need to multi-task and not just be solid behind the espresso machine, you will also be taking orders, chatting with regulars, restocking and keeping your station organized.

You should also be able to:

– Prove your experience in a similar environment, including latte art

– Be very fast, efficient, clean and work very well under continuous pressure

– Enjoy chatting with our hundreds of regulars who treat our staff like family
