Be part of the team at Milk Bar! We have two very busy cafes (one on Vanderbilt in Prospect Heights and the other in Park Slope). We need a part time Barista also with great server skills. Must be NYC Food Handler and able to work Sundays (and potentially also Fridays).

Milk Bar recreates the café culture of Australia by pairing premium coffee (proudly serving Counter Culture Coffee) with fresh and healthy food in comfortable, modern cafes. A passion for coffee and the abilities to work in a dynamic team environment, multitask, and communicate effectively are essential.

Responsibilities:
Consistent production of specialty coffee beverages
Perform friendly and attentive customer service through dining room serving
Very clean – must keep a clean station and cafe
Be a strong team member with a willingness and ability to multitask
Clearly communicating with kitchen staff and servers
Creating a hospitable atmosphere of professionalism, integrity, calm, cleanliness and efficiency

Skills and Qualifications:
Prior barista experience a must; enthusiasm for coffee required
Able to work under pressure
