Bright Side and Shop are both Australian-inspired all day cafes located in Williamsburg. We are a high-volume business, with a fast-paced team that can multi-task (making coffee whilst greeting customers and entering orders all at the same time). We are a multi-roaster cafe, offering coffees from Proud Mary and Counter Culture Coffee, etc. We have custom La Marzocco Linea PB ABR, with Mahlkonig grinders too!

We are looking for skilled and multi-talented baristas (who can also serve and do other stuff) for both our cafes. The role will consist of making amazing coffee, greeting customers, taking orders, offering menu suggestions, running out food and drinks and clearing tables as well as dishwashing, restocking and cleaning.

A minimum of 2 years barista experience is required in specialty coffee, plus serving experience is preferred. Not only will you be serving up delicious and beautiful coffee, but you will be providing amazing customer service in a cheerful manner to the local community, giving our customers some friendly banter to start their day.

There is room for growth within our business. We are looking for people that want to step up to more supervisory/leadership positions.

Compensation is an hourly rate based on experience plus tips (25-30 per hour combined).
We also provide free shift meals (and they are delicious)!

• 2+ years of barista/serving experience
• Latte art skills preferred
