About Brooklyn Roasting Company:
Founded in 2009, The Brooklyn Roasting Company buys, roasts and sells superb coffees from the world’s most renowned growing regions. We favor certified coffees (Fair Trade, Rainforest Alliance, organic) and unique auction-lot coffees. All of our beans are roasted every day and expertly packaged in our state-of-the-art production facility in the historic Brooklyn Navy Yard to maximize flavor and freshness. The Brooklyn Roasting company work environment is collaborative, innovative, fun, and fast-paced.

Our team at Brooklyn Roasting Company is comprised of employees with diverse business backgrounds. We are looking for team members that are not only coffee professionals but great fits for our team. We have immediate openings for both baristas and shift leads.

We are always looking to hire top quality, highly skilled coffee loving baristas to join our fast-growing company. We are serious (but not snobby) about coffee and want people who are serious about working with coffee.

Our ideal candidate will possess:
• Knowledge of basic latte art
• Knowledge and interest in coffee
• Knowledge of coffee brew methods and extraction types
• Enthusiasm with customers to represent the BRC brand
• Ability to communicate respectfully with team members, management, and all customers
• General upkeep or the bar and café area
