Looking to share and grow your knowledge of coffee and coffee equipment?  Filicori Zecchini, a third-generation luxury Italian coffee company, is seeking an experienced barista with basic technical equipment skills. You’ll train with our baristas from Italy and learn our standards. Be comfortable sharing your knowledge of, and talking about, coffee and equipment with customers.

Your role will be to:

• Build long-term relationships through ensuring customer knowledge of products, coffee beverages, and equipment use
• Use teamwork to support wholesale, franchise and flagship operations and assist all team members and management in providing outstanding, quality customer service
• Communicate effectively and professionally with all team members and management
• Assist customers with diagnosing equipment technical and maintenance issues
• Develop working knowledge of all equipment owned and operated by the company and its customers
• Develop product knowledge of the entire FZ line, as well as subject knowledge of coffees, teas, and chocolates

The skills/experience we seek:

• 1+ year’s work as a barista or technician in a food service environment
• A positive, professional and energetic attitude
• Self-motivated and a passion for great coffee
• Food handler’s license – a plus
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Fluent in English, fluency in additional languages (Italian, French, Spanish) a plus
• You must be able to lift at least 50 lbs unassisted
• Able to climb stairs and stand for long periods of time
