Job Description

The Hester Street Fair, a popular outdoor artisans market, is hiring full-time or part-time baristas/counter staff for an exciting new indoor cafe opening in August 2013.

Prior experience (1 yr.) in the food service industry is required, preferably with an independent cafe, coffee shop, or similar establishment (i.e., not fast food).

We are looking for applicants who are friendly, outgoing and work well with a team. Applicants should have a strong interest in coffee and teas and will go through extensive training on espresso and drip methods using the highest quality coffee and equipment. 

*Starting pay is $10-$13/hour + tips (depending on experience) 

*Two shifts available Tuesday through Sunday: opening shift (10am – 6pm) and closing shift (11am – 7pm)
