Job Description

We are seeking hiring for multiple positions:

• Baristas
• Barista Assistants
• Servers
• Brand Ambassadors

We have several large projects coming up in August and September and need to expand our team.

These are W2 hourly position in NYC, paying $28-32.25/hour.

Baristas
You’re confident on bar, great with customers, and love slinging spro.

– highly trained baristas for upcoming special events and pop-ups
– baristas with NYC Food Handler’s License for on-going placement in coffee bars we operate throughout NYC

(baristas must have know how to pull balanced manual espresso shots and produce beautiful and tasty micro-foam, latte art skills are a major plus)

Barista Assistants
Barista assistant help the barista by anticipating their needs and performing non-espresso related tasks. If they are building an iced coffee, you line up the cup and pour the milk. If there’s an order for cold brew, you fill that drink.

Servers
Servers are responsible for communicating with customers and bringing beverages from the bar staff to the customers.

Brand Ambassadors
You the smiling face of the brand, are at times a bit like a coffee concierge, you help us with logistics, and you’re able to fill in here and there when we need you to.

In this category, we’re hiring people who love coffee and love talking to the public.

Who We’d Love to Meet:

We love coffee nerds and will gladly chat with you about origins, processes, or the latest pourover brewer. Ideal candidates will also have excellent hospitality skills. We strive to recognize that each person experiences coffee in a personal way. It’s important to us to create an inclusive and fun environment with an emphasis on top service. If you love learning, are prompt and reliable, and have solid customer service skills, we’d love to meet you.

Essential qualifications for all roles:
– Specialty coffee knowledge
– Passionate about coffee of all varieties

Strong pluses:
– New York Food Handler’s Certificate
