Job Description

Irving Farm Coffee Roasters is currently hiring for both part-time and full-time positions at multiple locations. Preference will be given to those who have at least one weekend day of availability.

We are looking for responsible, reliable, hard-working individuals with a passion for coffee and working in the service industry.

Requirements:

• Excellent communication & customer service skills
• Being clean, organized, professional, and mature
• Enthusiastic interest in being part of a team (ALL of our staff are expected to help out where it’s needed, whether it’s pitching in to wash dishes or make sandwiches… this is NOT the job for you if you expect to just stand at the espresso machine all day and wait for drink orders!)
• Ability to remain calm and keep a level head during busy rushes
• Interest and eagerness to learn & grow

Preferred but not necessary:

• Experience working in specialty coffee
• Experience working with food / food preparation
• NYC food handlers’ license
