Dovecote is a weekend pop-up cafe in Carroll Gardens.

Its menu is focused on elevating breakfast culture, providing excellent coffee and high-quality meals with unparalleled hospitality. Dovecote also serves specialty cocktails developed by the expert bartenders of August Laura.

We are seeking qualified baristas and enthusiastic front of house staff for our cafe. The most important quality that we’re looking for in each applicant is their proficiency in providing excellent hospitality.

With that in mind, here’s what we’re looking for in our staff:

– Ability to provide excellent hospitality to all customers
– Interested in coffee & has a palate for it
– High standards for cleanliness and organization
– Open to additional training & guidance
– Reliable and on-time for shifts
– Ability to lift 40 lbs and stand on one’s feet for several hours

Bonus qualifications (and additional compensation):

– Knows how to use a VST refractometer to make coffee taste better
– Familiar with La Marzocco, Nuova Simonelli, and FETCO equipment
– Food Handler’s Certificate

Hourly pay is commensurate with experience.
