Cafe Beit in Williamsburg is hiring an experienced barista for 3-4 shifts/wk (roughly 30 hrs). Weekend shifts are expected.

We are a small cafe that can get very busy. We have a great customer base and the tips are also great! Music is a huge part of our vibe so a range of interests is a big plus.

This position is great for someone who knows how to dial in espresso, steam milk and can move quickly and calmly during a rush. Latte art is a plus, but we are willing to train someone in this regard, so long as there is a firm grasp of the basics. Please know the difference between a flat white and cappuccino.

We will hire the right fit if you don’t have a food handlers, but we will expect you to get it within a couple months of employment. We also expect cleanliness. The shop is small so it isn’t too hard to keep organized.

All the baristas are expected to make food and work the register. It’s a small team and we tend to move around.

Pay starts at $15/hr and with tips usually comes out to $23-24/hr.
