Caffe Vita is looking to hire an experienced Retail Cafe Manager for two locations located in Brooklyn and Manhattan. If you have senior management experience, amazing customer service, organizational skills, and want to be part of our fun team, take a look!

Wage: based on experience – salary

Hours: Full time, 40hours

Schedule: Retail Managers are responsible to create set schedules for their team.

Responsibilities:
-Cultivate and create community through kindness, positivity, and respect. Serve as a role model for maintaining a calm, fun, and friendly environment during high-stress or high-volume periods.
-Work a minimum number of weekly bar shifts as determined by GM and perform barista tasks during scheduled shifts. Fill in when staffing shortages arise if other staffing arrangements cannot be made and must be able to attend to after hour emergencies.
-Recruit, onboard, mentor, and coach baristas daily. Promote a safe and respectful working environment. Communicate clear performance objectives to staff in addition to performance feedback.
-Ensure high customer satisfaction with service and product by staying knowledgeable about Vita’s current beverage and food offerings. Taste beverages regularly to ensure quality and develop your palate.
-Achieve sales goals and control costs of sales to meet established budgets. Manage labor levels to increase efficiency without sacrificing quality or customer experience.
-Track and report payroll twice a month along with completing end of the month duties including inventory, payroll, banking, and submitting invoices.
-Maintain vendor relationships. Keep products in stock and merchandise shelves fully faced.
-Make sure all equipment is properly working and maintained. Troubleshoot small repairs and work with the Director of Retail Operations and Service Department towards resolution on larger repairs.
-Maintain compliance with Osha in safety, cleanliness, and Covid protocals
