SHOP is looking for a Cafe Manager!
We are an Aussie owned and operated local cafe, and for the past 9 years we have been pouring flat whites and smashing avocados in Williamsburg, Brooklyn! We are a small but fast-paced team that can multi-task (making coffee whilst greeting customers and entering orders all at the same time). As a multi-roaster cafe, we are currently offering a variety of coffees from Proud Mary and Counter Culture Coffee!

We are looking for a skilled and multi-talented barista with management experience. You wiill be repsonsible for hiring and training new staff, managing the existing team, communicating the weekly schedule, placing orders and checking inventory. The role will also consist of making amazing coffee, greeting customers, taking orders, offering menu suggestions, running out food and drinks and clearing tables as well as dishwashing, restocking and cleaning. The ideal candidate for this role is extremely personable both with the customers, as well as also your fellow staff members.

A minimum of 2 years barista experience is required in specialty coffee, plus some serving experience is also preferred. Not only will you be serving up delicious and beautiful coffee, but you will be providing amazing customer service in a cheerful manner to the local community, giving our customers some friendly banter to start their day.

• 2+ years of specialty coffee experience and management experience
• Able to work fast while maintaining high quality standards
• Able to work well as part of a team and also by yourself
• Exceptional customer service with a warm welcoming attitude
• Must be able to work Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays
• Full-time required (5 days a week)
• Wage: $24-26/hr

*Must have valid working permit/visa/citizenship (however we will also consider sponsorship for the right person!)
