Established NYC specialty espresso bar is looking for a cafe manager. Previous cafe management and barista experience required. Specialty coffee experience (working with quality roasters) is a must.

You must be passionate and knowledgeable about coffee, a natural leader able to motivate others, be comfortable with providing feedback and confrontation when necessary, train staff and maintain an organized operations process and actively represent the cafe brand in the specialty coffee industry.

Summary
As a Manager you would be responsible for providing outstanding leadership to your team and ensuring day-to-day operations run smoothly. You should be passionate about the coffee industry, inspiring others, coaching, counseling, creating a profitable environment, and delivering an exceptional customer experience. You must maintain high standards of cafe cleanliness, sanitation, food and beverage quality, and facility management. Cafe employees should look to the manager for guidance and support. You are instrumental in ensuring top quality, tight operations and working closely with owners on growing the brand.
