Job Description

Sip and Co is a specialty café that roasts its own coffee and prepares all food to order. We’re looking for a dependable, customer-focused Cashier/Barista who enjoys great coffee, great service, and a fast-paced café environment.

Pay and Schedule

Starting at $18/hour (based on experience)
Tips average $9–$12/hour
Part-time shifts, typically 6–9 hours
Weekend availability required, especially morning shifts from 6:30 AM–1:00 PM

What You’ll Do

Deliver friendly, professional service from open to close
Take orders, answer menu questions, and handle customizations accurately
Operate the register and process payments with care
Brew coffee, prepare espresso beverages (training provided), and serve food
Keep the café clean, stocked, and running smoothly
Follow all food safety, health, and sanitation standards
Work collaboratively to support a positive, efficient team environment

What We’re Looking For

Strong customer service and communication skills
Reliability, punctuality, and attention to detail
Comfort working in a fast-paced setting
Café or barista experience is a plus, but not required
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform light lifting, with or without reasonable accommodation
