Job Description

Chalait is currently recruiting for experienced full time baristas to join our teams at our cafe. We’re looking for full-timers. We are looking for outgoing individuals with great customer service skills who are passionate about coffee, tea and food!

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Brewing, serving and talking about coffee and tea
Maintaining a clean, professional and inviting atmosphere
Operate the register/POS system efficiently
Attend paid coffee and tea training

Qualifications:

Minimum 1 year of barista and/or café experience a must
Comfortable working in a busy/high volume environment
Exceptional communication and hospitality skills
Passionate about specialty coffee and tea
High school diploma
Available on weekends and holidays

NYC Food Safety Handlers Certificate is a plus
