We sell coffee directly to consumers online as well as to businesses like coffee shops, grocery stores, and companies. We are sold in Trader Joe’s, Target, Sprouts, Meijer, Fresh Market, Amazon and others. We are launching a mobile coffee cart at Hudson Yards in October 2022.

About the position:
We’re looking for an Operations Associate to manage production and fulfillment of retail and wholesale coffee orders and customer service delivery.
The Operations Associate would be put on a promotion path to become Team Lead and General Manager with experience.
This is a full-time position based in Brooklyn, NY, about five minutes from downtown. Pay and benefits:

Status: Full time 40 hours weekly
– Work days: Monday – Friday
– Work location: Brooklyn, NY office/warehouse, five minutes from downtown
– Pay: $26-30/hr. DOE
– Free bag of coffee or box of single-serves every week
– You’ll report to our Operations Team Lead and work alongside our Head of Roasting.

Responsibilities:

– Picking & packing coffee and accessories for consumer and wholesale orders
– Maintain and update our fulfillment-related and inventory-related systems and documentation (incl. Google Drive and Shopify)
– Take inventory and re-order supplies when needed
– Work alongside roasting team to address any fulfillment/product issues as they arise
– Respond to customer service inquiries in customer service portal and via email
– Other tasks as needed

Requirements

* Ability to work in-person at roastery and office in Brooklyn, CA during scheduled hours (this is not a WFH position)
* 2+ years experience in Customer Service, Customer Packaged Goods, Food & Beverage, Hospitality, Logistics, Manufacturing, and/or Retail strongly preferred
* Willingness to follow food safety protocols
* Ability to stand for 30+ minutes and lift packages of up to 25lbs.
*A valid Driver’s license

Desired experience:

– Prior work in hospitality, warehousing, or retail
– Prior experience working with coffee, tea, and/or other consumer packaged goods
– Prior use of, or willingness to learn, Google Sheets and Gmail for Business
