Birch Coffee is looking to hire a Production Roaster to join our passionate and skilled roasting team. We are looking for a person with the interest and passion required to develop expertise and contribute to roast profile development, inventory management, and quality control.

Responsibilities: • Proper, safe operation of production roasting machines and sample roasters
• Maintain a tidy, organized work area during and after your shift
• Monitor inventory to assist with proper inventory management
• Participate in quality control evaluation and profile development
•Work with the production crew to expedite fulfillment of orders
• Develop an understanding for profile roasting
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
A minim of one year experience in the field.
Availability Mon-Fri.
Team Player Attitude.
A passion for coffee.

We are located in Long Island City. The Position is in the Monday- Friday range with occasional weekend events.
