Full-Time Coffee Service Technician
Job Description
Prime Line Coffee and Tea Division was established in 1984. We provide sales, service, and technical support for espresso, coffee, and tea brewing equipment to the finest restaurants, hotels, cafes, markets, and cruise lines. We have our own team of fully experienced coffee equipment technicians based in New York division. Prime Line is the authorized sales and service provider for Gruppo Cimbali for all LA CIMBALI, FAEMA and CASADIO espresso machines. Prime Line is committed to providing the highest quality and excellence in espresso, coffee, and tea service in the New York market.
We are looking for a full-time coffee service technician to join our team! The service technician will be troubleshooting, installing, or performing preventive maintenance to our coffee machines at the client’s location. This position requires driving, company van is provided.
Salary is @ $60,000 annually.
Schedule is Monday to Friday from 8 am to 5 pm. The right candidate will need to be available on alternate weekends for emergency service calls.
The Coffee & Espresso Equipment Technician Responsibilities are as follows:
Respond to service calls in designated geographical/territory and report back to service coordinator for proper recording
Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair of coffee/espresso equipment
Utilize “Rydesmart” by Ryder for routing and dispatching service calls
Perform preventive maintenance and surveys on a regular basis
Installing coffee/espresso equipment as scheduled
Work as part of an on-call rotation which may include evening, weekend and some holidays work
Maintain proper inventory of spare parts for repairs and preventative maintenance
Report any customer complaints
Maintain cleanliness and organization of company vehicles
Qualifications:
5+ years of espresso and coffee equipment experience
Valid class A driver license issued by the state where you intend to work
Clean driving record
Previous field service experience
Ability to work independently
Clear written and verbal communications skills
Professional attitude
Ability to follow directions
Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills
