Birch Coffee started in 2009 with the simple philosophy of wanting to enjoy coming to work every day. We also believe in making everyone’s day a little brighter through even the tiniest of actions such as a friendly smile while you get a morning coffee.
We’ve worked hard to continue to learn, grow, and produce some of the best coffee and regulars in NYC! We’re happy to continue to grow and want to find other like-minded folks to Join the Birch Coffee team!

We’re looking for People with proven track records of leadership to manage one of our many locations! We call the position Coffee Shop Lead because that is what you can expect to do every day….Lead-the-Coffee-Shop!

Do you love making Coffee? Do you find you easily make new friends? Do you love building teams and helping grow people in a fast-paced environment?

If so, we want to hear from you! As a CSL, you can expect to manage the day to day operations of the store which includes keeping the store clean, stocked, organized while uplifting your team of coworkers and customers…..Oh and all while delivering some awesome coffee drinks along the way!

What we’re looking for in you:
~You are a strong leader who both supports and challenges your staff to be their best
~You have a record of helping to grow your staff into various roles within the store
~You understand how to drive your shop to financial success through operational excellence and creative initiatives
~You are articulate and and effective communicator both in written and verbal forms to people at all levels in the company
~You are empathetic, kind, confident and not afraid of a challenge or work
~You love to collaborate and draw upon your own experiences as well as other’s to make something better than you found it
~You have at least 2 years of Previous Specialty Coffee experience, Management level preferred
