Coffee Shop Lead

The role

We call this role Coffee Shop Lead because that’s exactly what you’ll be doing: leading the coffee shop. You’re the heart of the store, shaping the environment, the culture, and the customer experience. From the music playing to the drinks on the counter to how your team feels clocking in, you set the tone.

As a CSL, you balance the art of great coffee with the science of smooth operations. You coach, you guide, you taste, and you hustle. For those with their eyes on a District Manager role, this is exactly where that path begins.

What we’re looking for

Required:

-Proven experience leading a high-volume coffee shop or food and beverage operation
-A strong, empathetic leader who knows how to support and challenge a team in equal measure
-Deep knowledge of coffee, a passion for quality, and genuine excitement to share that with others
-Detail-oriented and solution-focused, especially when it matters most
-NYC DOH Food Handler’s Certificate (or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire)

Preferred:

-Specialty coffee background
-Experience in a multi-unit or growing brand environment

Compensation and benefits

-Guaranteed minimum of $70,000/year in total gross earnings (salary + tips), trued up annually
-Overtime pay for working over 40hrs/week
