PROOF Coffee Roasters, an artisanal coffee roaster, purveyor, and wholesaler, is hiring! READ THE ENTIRE POST before responding and applying.

We are actively seeking the right enthusiastic individual for a Supervisory / Managerial position within one of our cafes in Manhattan.

The right candidate MUST HAVE:

Extensive coffee and barista experience
Previous supervisory / asst. manager / manager experience in a cafe setting
The right personality, integrity, honesty, attitude, and work ethic
This position mandates and entails the following:
Proactive, self-starter, meticulous attention to detail, and impeccable follow-through.
Managing scheduling, staffing optimization, and labor costs
Vendor management, inventory tracking, and COGS analysis
Devising and implementing creative, strategic, and fun solutions to achieve specific store goals
You must work HARD and SMART for your store, your team, your colleagues, and the company. You must be passionate about our brand and emphatic about hospitality and coffee.If you read the above and thought “no sweat, I can do all that in my sleep”, then we enthusiastically invite you to get in touch. Salary will be discussed and decided together based on past experience and skills assessment to determine level of ability and expertise in supervisory / managerial skills within a cafe setting.
