Job Description

Parlor Coffee is seeking an exceptional candidate to assume the role of Delivery Driver. Parlor aims to continuously elevate coffee within our own backyard of New York City as well as far beyond our roastery doors by coupling a detail-oriented, creative approach with earnest effort each and every day. We are seeking a candidate who subscribes to similar values of work and integrity. You will work with our General Manager and Production Manager to organize and execute local deliveries. Of note, you are courteous and considerate, understanding that your regular interaction with our customers is a reflection upon our brand.

Core Responsibilities

– Deliver coffee, supplies and equipment to Parlor’s NYC accounts throughout the week
– Report directly to Production Manager and General Manager
– Communicate promptly, effectively and respectfully with all accounts and members of the Parlor team
– Maintain functionality and cleanliness of Parlor’s delivery vehicles
– Exercise strict adherence to NYC parking and traffic regulations
– Support Parlor with assistance for special events as necessary
– Occasional support in Parlor’s coffee roasting production, scheduled or as deemed necessary by management for coverage.

Qualifications

– Valid driver’s license, ability to drive in the state of NY and clean driving record
– Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the work day
– Minimum one year driving experience preferred
– Must reside in New York City; knowledge of city’s layout preferred
– Must be available to work Monday through Friday
– Ability to work as a team player in a fast pace environment
– Professional and amiable demeanor
– Thorough and urgent execution of work
– Unwavering attention to detail
– Commitment to working safely including adhering to COVID protocols

Compensation

This is an hourly, full-time position. Must be available 5 days per week. Pay begins at $20/hr. Benefits are available after 60 days to all full-time employees.
