Full-Time Director of Wholesale Sales

Think Coffee – Posted by thinkcoffee1 United States

Job Description

About Think Coffee
At Think Coffee, we believe great coffee should uplift everyone it touches—from the farmworkers at origin to the customers in our cafés. As direct importers and roasters, we go beyond fair prices by investing directly in farming communities and forming long-term, transparent partnerships.
We’ve been a trusted name in NYC cafés for nearly 20 years. Now, we’re scaling our wholesale program—and we’re looking for a driven, strategic, and passionate Director of Wholesale Sales to lead the way.
About the Role
This is a growth-focused, entrepreneurial opportunity to build and scale a dynamic wholesale sales business from the ground up. As Director of Wholesale Sales, you’ll lead sales strategy, grow new revenue streams, and be the face of Think Coffee to our wholesale partners in hospitality, food service, office, and grocery.
You’ll have the full support of our coffee, roasting, and marketing teams—but the vision and execution of our wholesale sales program will be yours to lead.
Key Responsibilities
Grow the Business: Own the strategic development and profitable growth of our wholesale program.
Drive Sales: Lead prospecting, outreach, and pipeline development using both inbound and outbound sales strategies.
Build Partnerships: Cultivate relationships with hotels, restaurants, grocers, offices, and distributors.
Lead Collaboratively: Work cross-functionally with ownership, marketing, and roasting teams to shape our brand voice in the wholesale space.
Manage Accounts: Onboard new partners, provide technical support, and offer menu/equipment consultation.
Report & Forecast: Track KPIs, report monthly performance, and maintain CRM and forecasting tools.
Who You Are
3–5+ years in B2B sales, ideally in specialty coffee, hospitality, or foodservice
Strong communicator, negotiator, and relationship builder
Highly self-motivated with a proven track record of growing sales pipelines
Comfortable with sales tools, CRM software, and social media marketing
Ready to roll up your sleeves, travel as needed, and lead with confidence
Bonus Points For
Coffee equipment knowledge (espresso machines, brewers, grinders)
Experience marketing or selling a mission-driven brand
Familiarity with lead generation campaigns and online promotions
