As America’s freshest specialty coffee provider, Devocion is the only roaster that roasts fresh green beans. Our green beans are roasted, on average, just 15 to 30 days after leaving the dry mill at origin (and as quickly as 10 days), while most roasters in the market take six months to a year! And yes, we also freshly roast at our Williamsburg flagship.
As the only coffee roaster that guarantees fresh beans before roasting, Devocion has established itself as one of the best roasters in America since its inception. With rapid growth underway, we are seeking a Regional Manager to join us on our journey as the freshest coffee roaster and play a key leadership role in guiding our team into its next chapter.
Our Regional Manager is responsible for overseeing the overall quality of our coffee shops and managing staff. They ensure that all personnel and systems operate efficiently to deliver excellent customer satisfaction, maintain seamless shop operations, and foster high employee morale.
The Regional Manager should possess a strong understanding of coffee shop business operations, a deep commitment to quality, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to recruit, train, motivate, and lead a team effectively.
This role involves supervising and overseeing Senior Leaders, Leaders, and Baristas
Your responsibilities would include, but are not limited, to:
– Lead and manage daily operations to ensure smooth functioning of the establishment.
– Supervise staff, including hiring, training, and conducting performance evaluations.
– Oversee food preparation and presentation to maintain high standards of quality and
safety.
– Prepare weekly schedules, track sick/vacation days, keep employee files up to date, etc.
– Run weekly payroll
– Manage inventory, ordering supplies, and ensuring compliance with health regulations.
– Management of monthly P&L
– Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency.
– Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional growth.
– Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism and courtesy.
– Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
– Ensure all of our shops have the highest maintenance and upkeep standards.
– Perform other work-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
– Proven experience in the food industry in a managerial role.
– Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
– Knowledge of coffee and food management practices, including safety regulations and
quality control standards.
– Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with staff and customers.
– Experience in interviewing and hiring staff is preferred.
