Espresso Trainer
We are looking for an Awesome Espresso Trainer who genuinely enjoys the practice of teaching and working to develop others’ skills.

Requirements for this position:
-Possess at least 1 year experience as Espresso Trainer for a specialty coffee company.
-Provide expert level training of all staff to use espresso machines and the differences that may exist between stores. This includes but isn’t limited to tamping, extraction, milk texturing and drink construction, including all seasonal drinks. Training standard espresso machine and grinder maintenance daily, weekly, and seasonal.
-Bringing all staff up to standards, through additional trainings, and maintaining standards.
-Train speed and efficiency on bar to maximize our best service practices.
-Train how to create beautiful drinks whilst maintaining a clean workspace at all times.
-Be able to follow training systems to the letter.

Technical skills/knowledge for this position:
-general mechanics of espresso equipment and maintenance
-ability to troubleshoot and provide solutions
-precision in evaluating and dialing in espresso, utilizing all variables
-milk concepts and texturing
-mechanics of pouring latte art (heart, Rosetta, tulip)
-ability to maintain a clean work space
-Be able to work on your feet up to 8hrs a day making drinks and working on espresso bar
-must take meticulous notes and work closely with our Director of Retail Operations
