Job Description

We’re hiring a contract barista to support a slate of events over a two-month period. Shifts typically range from 4 to 8 hours, offering a chance to be part of dynamic, guest-facing moments in art and fashion settings.

Responsibilities:

– Prepare high-quality espresso and coffee beverages, including dialing in espresso and adjusting grinder settings

– Follow recipes for signature menu items and maintain knowledge of the standard specialty coffee menu

– Assist with event setup and breakdown, keeping the workstation clean, organized, and efficient

– Manage POS transactions and guest orders with accuracy

– Maintain strong hospitality standards, ensuring every guest feels welcomed and cared for

Qualifications:

– Previous barista experience (1+ year preferred); confident with specialty coffee techniques

– Bartender and event experience in guest-facing food service roles strongly preferred

– Food Handler’s License required

– Friendly, communicative, and professional demeanor under pressure

– Reliable, punctual, and collaborative team member

– Pride in presenting a polished, memorable experience for guests

Compensation:

$30/hour + tips for applicable events
