ansā is a technology-driven coffee company and micro roastery redefining freshness. We use patented roasting technology to roast coffee automatically and on demand, without fire or smoke. Our cafés operate as open kitchens and micro factories, where guests can watch coffee, food, and ice cream being made fresh in real time.

Green coffee, sourcing, and production are at the center of our approach, with the mindset of chefs and craftspeople. As we expand across New York City this year, we are building a strong, experienced team ahead of growth.

The Role
We are hiring experienced baristas only to join our team ahead of city expansion. This role is ideal for baristas with a strong technical foundation who want to learn more about roasting, green coffee, and coffee production—and grow into leadership as new locations open. Part-time and full-time positions are available, depending on experience and fit.

Requirements
• 2+ years professional barista experience
• Strong espresso, milk, and workflow skills
• Comfortable in open kitchens and high-volume settings
• Detail-oriented, clean, and reliable
• Flexible availability including weekends

Compensation & Benefits
• $20/hr base
• 10–20% raise after 1 month upon passing a knowledge test
• Part-time or full-time, with morning, midday, or afternoon shifts
• Growth and leadership opportunities as NYC expansion continues

• Open 7 days a week
• Flagship store: 101 Thompson St, NYC
