Chalait is currently recruiting for experienced baristas to join our team. We’re looking for both a part-timers and full-timers. We are looking for outgoing individuals with great customer service skills who are passionate about coffee, tea and food. Competitive pay based on experience.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Brewing, serving and talking about coffee and tea
• Maintaining a clean, professional and inviting atmosphere
• Operate the register/POS system efficiently
• Attend paid coffee and tea training

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of barista and/or café experience a must
• Comfortable working in a busy/high volume environment
• Exceptional communication and hospitality skills
• Passionate about specialty coffee and tea
• High school diploma
• Available on weekends and holidays
• NYC Food Safety Handlers Certificate is a plus
