BUDIN is looking for an experienced barista to join the team. We’re a spacious yet cozy Nordic cafe located in Greenpoint focusing on a specialty multi-roaster cafe experience with a growing evening program based around craft beer and high class wines.

Position is part time with a possibility to expand to full time. Competitive wages starting at 12.50 + tips.

Responsibilites:

-dialing in espresso and fetco offerings using a refractometer

-providing quality service

-keeping up with rotating coffee / beer / wine

-willingness to learn about Scandinavian roasters and Nordic style roasting

-being open to new ideas in coffee and a desire to improve the cafe and coffee culture

-an understanding of TDS and extraction percentages a plus

-an understanding of beer and wine a plus

-minimum one year experience in a competitive cafe, more preferred
