Job Description

We are looking for baristas to hire baristas for upcoming gigs. We’ve got a busy summer ahead full of special events and pop-ups. Pay is $27/hr and we hire our team, rather than paying you as a contractor.

We love coffee nerds and will gladly chat with you about origins, processes, or the latest pourover brewer. Ideal candidates will also have excellent hospitality skills. We strive to recognize that each person experiences coffee in a personal way. It’s important to us to create an inclusive and fun environment with an emphasis on top service. If you love learning, are prompt and reliable, and have solid espresso and customer service skills, we’d love to meet you.

Essential qualifications:
Specialty coffee knowledge
Ability to pull balanced manual espresso shots
Can produce beautiful and tasty microfoam
Passionate about coffee of all varieties

Strong pluses:
New York Food Handler’s Certificate
Latte art skills
