We are a non-profit organization with a specialty bookstore and new coffee house. We are seeking experienced baristas who can help us to make the coffee house a sanctuary in midtown Manhattan for both you and Tianti customers.

About Us:

Tianti Books began an online store in 2007. In 2013 Tianti opened a physical location in Manhattan to satisfy customers’ needs. Customers find us “by far one of the most peaceful, quiet and spacious space in NYC. The staff is extremely kind and the coffee and teas served here are solid.” After experiencing a unexpected long journey of construction, we finally can began serving customers with books of Falun Dafa self-cultivation in over 30 languages, tuition free meditation workshops, and the new coffee house.

Your Duties:

• Greeting customers with care
• Serving delicious coffee, tea and food
• Helping customers to have positive experience at Tianti.
• Operation and maintenance of equipment and workstation; preparing espresso, espresso drinks, brewed coffee, cold brew, specialty tea, and blended drinks by following company recipes and preparation techniques.
• Working with the bar team to stock and maintain inventory, including coffee, tea, pastry and other supplies,
• Maintain cleanliness of the customer seating areas and restrooms
• And more that takes to make a good teamwork and good customer experience.

NYC Food Protection Certificate is required. In case you don’t have it now, don’t worry. You have three weeks after you joined the team.
