Coffee Check is a brand new cafe/roastery that just opened in Greenpoint, Brooklyn.

Our hours will be 7am-3pm every day.

We’re looking for a coffee nerd who has a knack for customer service, eagerness to learn, and is interested in a long-term, part-time position.

Expectations:

• Deliver impeccable hospitality to all who walk in to the cafe. Greeting everyone and making them feel like they are well-catered to.
• Work with the rest of the team to dial in and serve speciality grade, fully traceable, and well-crafted coffee in a variety of forms from espresso, to pour over, to drip, to cold brew, and more.
• Continue to learn about our coffees and food offerings by joining us in tastings, cuppings, classes, and possible field trips.
• Support the rest of the team by keeping the cafe running efficiently and maintaining the highest standard of cleanliness and presentation—from cleaning, sweeping, dusting, mopping, removing trash, proper machine cleaning protocols, and more. Even if you’re not asked to.

Compensation:

$25/hour gauranteed (we are a no tipping cafe)
