Little Grenjai is a family owned Thai-American restaurant in the heart of Bedford-Stuyvestant known for our unique and bold flavors inspired by Bangkok street food. We are now in search of an experienced barista to join our team as we launch our new cafe menu and expanded hours!

We are offering $20 per hour base pay before tips, access to delicious staff meals, and a comfortable, friendly work environment.

Our ideal candidate will:
– Have 2-3 years of coffee related experience.
– Be available during our cafe hours, Wednesday – Sunday 7am to 1pm.
– Have a strong working knowledge of coffee flavor profiling, brewing methods, milk steaming and latte art.
– Have Experience working a manual La Marzocco machine, including dialing in espresso daily and regular cleaning maintenance.
– Demonstrate best practices in hospitality, cleanliness and product presentation.
– Be responsible with time management and side work during quieter hours.
– Show independence, self sufficiency and a willingness to collaborate with our team as we develop a creative and unique coffee menu.
– Help us build a solid customer base by being consistently friendly and personable.
– Have a NYC Food Protection Certificate.
– Share an enthusiasm for Thai food and flavors with our customers!
