Fort Defiance, the renowned neighborhood restaurant and cocktail destination in Red Hook, Brooklyn, is looking for a new general manager to lead us into our next decade of good food, good drinks, and warm hospitality.

has 2+ years experience in managing both FOH and BOH operations

is capable, organized, experienced, a great communicator, and is curious and enthusiastic about food, drink, and management

loves the community of Red Hook, Brooklyn

While owner St. John Frizell is re-opening Gage & Tollner, the legendary chophouse in Downtown Brooklyn, the new general manager will take over all operations at Fort Defiance, a busy, bustling corner restaurant going into its 10th successful year.
