Upstate Stock is a unique concept store based in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Our flagship has grown to be one of the busiest cafes in all of New York City. Part retail, grocer, and cafe the shop carries over 300 brands as well as hundreds of products made by the brand here in Brooklyn and in Upstate NY. There is no concept like this in America and we are looking for someone who can embody the hard work and uniqueness that has made this shop such a force. Applicants will be responsible for a business of over 2 million a year and be incredibly self-starting, hard working, and have amazing delegation skills to oversee all aspects of operation.

This role is meant to be very autonomous, and to treat the shop like it’s their own. The applicant will be required to work at least 3 bar shifts for the foreseeable future, until we open up a new shop and a larger team is put in place to be managed by the applicant.

Responsibilities
-all matters relating to cafe and store operations.
-all ordering or delegation of ordering.

Requirements
-2 years in specialty coffee
-2 years in food service management.

COMPENSATION
$62,000 base
$8,000 yearly bonus split by quarter
$25,000 guaranteed tips (if tips do not equal 25k in a full calendar year, then Upstate Stock pays the difference)
