We are looking for a rock star General Manager to manage our Brooklyn Location and to oversee all the Partners kitchens. You will be staffed with an Assistant Manager and a Kitchen Lead (at every location). Our ideal is someone who has Managed a restaurant and or like coffee business with food. You must be able to speak Spanish. You do not need to be an excellent barista, however you must have a good working knowledge of coffee, and a palate, you will be expected to taste and quality control drinks (after further training if required). You might work on bar from time to time but this is an off bar role. You must have a good knowledge of running a kitchen and the ability to maintain and enhance our existing food options.

Your Key Objectives are:

* HR for the BK store employees and all kitchen employees

* Hire and manage all employees so that they are happy, safe and are continually performing at their best

* Manage the schedule for optimization and labor costs

* Educate and inspire staff ensuring amazing customer service and quality coffee (NOTE: you do not have to be a coffee professional just a love and understanding is enough)

* Drive sales for growth

* Ensure customer service and quality coffee

* Manage inventory and offerings

* Work with key stakeholders including Landlord

* Manage the maintenance and smooth running of the facility including utilities, security, trash

* Control store services and COG’s

You need great project management skills, the ability to start and finish a project, excellent written and verbal communication and an ability to juggle multiple issues at once. A good working knowledge of Square, Bamboo HR, Trinet, Door Dash, Deputy a bonus.

You need the ability to work on your feet for 8+ hours, lift up to 30lbs and be able to climb ladders, including the ability to hear audible cues.
