Bluestone Lane is Australian inspired and New York based. We are seeking a dedicated and passionate General Manager to head up the team at one of our locations in New York City.

For those that don’t know us – Bluestone Lane was founded in NYC in 2013 and inspired by a love of Australian cafe culture. We see coffee and food as a way of connecting people and we seek to make a difference to our locals’ daily ritual, every day. We roast our own coffee and our food menu is fresh, seasonal and delicious. We are all about the experience at Bluestone Lane. Our locals are everything to us and we are dedicated to giving them the best coffee, food and service in the business.

We are seeking a General Manager with a burning passion for hospitality who can help us bring our love of coffee, food and people to our coffee shop in Manhattan.

The successful applicant must have:

Previous hospitality experience and at least 2 years in a management or leadership role
Effective leadership and people management skills. We are nothing without our teams!
Attention to detail in every aspect of food and beverage service
Excellent communication skills

Responsibilities include:

Maintaining successful store operations on every level
Assuring excellent customer service from you and your team
Embodying Bluestone Lane culture and core values – our GMs are our biggest ambassadors!
Management of a driven, friendly and happy team – people management skills are a must!
Performance of necessary administrative tasks including scheduling and payroll
Store inventory management
Leading the team to achieve store sales targets
Ensuring a clean and safe working environment for your team and your locals
