We have a small cafe that just opened up. It is beautiful but we have been thinking too small and realized we need to hire a manager who knows how to develop the business/while working there as barista. We would like to incorporate food that is fast, amazing, and cost effective. We would like to sell plants as well. We need better overall systems and a better coffee. We need to make a place that is warm, queer, POC , and filled with joy, music and arts. We need to make a place that people travel to. We need the perfect manager to help us do that.

We don’t have much capital to pay for that (15$ an hour plus tips) BUT, we are willing to write in pay raises as sales grow plus we actually want to give a large % of the place to be owned by the manager. So we essentially are looking for a manager/owner. We honestly believe in equity and fairness and making a beautiful establishment that makes the world a better place (may sound cheesy but you can’t have a good sandwich without a little cheese).

So who are we hoping to hire:
-someone who has experience running a coffee shop (this is a must)
-someone who cares a lot the craft
-someone who would develop with us a clear action orientated plan to help us achieve said lovely place
-someone who understands the numbers
-someone who can develop a clear marketing plan with us
-someone who wants this as a career not just as a job
-someone who appreciates and values diversity
-someone who can help develop our food offerings
