Go Beyond the Bar! Established Food and Beverage Consulting company is seeking an all around Coffee Industry Jedi

This position offers a unique opportunity to develop industry related skills and build a career beyond the bar.
These are the areas where your passion and expertise are needed:
Barista Trainer/Workshop Developer
You will be leading barista training workshops that range from multiple session certification courses to single session introductions to Espresso, Milk and Service Techniques.   Private sessions may be led on location in cafes/restaurants in the NYC area.
You will have an opportunity to design your own workshops based on your specific coffee related interests as well as conduct experiments using lab equipment.
Quality Controller
You will be visiting our accounts to support staff with quality control of coffee products and services and to assist with staff development.
You will also have the opportunity to work with F+B Therapy as they put on their Sensory Experience in the Lab for New York Coffee Festival in October!
Qualifying Skills and Attributes:
Minimum of 3 years of Barista Experience and/or equivalent demonstrable skill.
Teaching experience a plus.
Leadership experience such as a prior Lead Barista position or cafe management position a plus .
Willing and able to work on projects remotely.
You are organized, self motivated and professional.
Motivated to work on projects independently as well as part of a team.
Willing & able to travel Nationally and internationally for coffee related expeditions.
Flexible Availability.
