Gotham Coffee Roasters is hiring for a part-time, weekend barista at our singular location in the Flatiron neighborhood of Manhattan. Close to Union Sq & 14th St subway.

This position has potential to grow as weekday volume to our cafe increases.

Applicants must have a strong customer service background, have specialty coffee experience, and be comfortable working and operating a cafe alone.

Requirements:

*3 years customer service experience
*2 years specialty coffee experience
*Closing & Opening experience
*Have weekend availability
*Have or obtain NY food handler’s certificate
*Ability to work on your feet 7-8hrs a day, lift 30lb, climb stairs

We take the health of our employees seriously. We currently operate walk-up window only, have a strict mask policy for guests, and record/monitor all employees for symptoms.

This position is for 9A – 4P Sat & Sun, 1hr Lunch 12P-1P.

Pay is commensurate to experience

Tips are not split for these shifts. We are happy to provide past 4wk of tip records as a reference point.
