ABOUT TRUEBIRD

Truebird is a seed stage start-up that sits at the intersection of food & beverage, automation, and real estate, currently headquartered in Brooklyn.

Our starting mission is to give people an amazing and affordable cup of coffee, wherever they are. Our first step on this journey is to introduce automated Micro-Cafes that serve incredible espresso drinks with a pretty magical experience.

Working at Truebird provides a truly special opportunity to grow a company from the ground up, working alongside a deeply experienced, mature team.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Greeter is the face of Truebird, welcoming our customers to both our Micro-cafe and a brand new way of thinking about speciality coffee. This person will guide new customers through the ordering process, ensuring smooth drink delivery and an excellent user experience. We are looking for someone with attention to detail and a good grasp of modern technology—the greeter will help push through minor technical bugs via an easy-to-use custom app.

In addition to being a highly empathetic individual, the Greeter will become a font of knowledge about our Micro-cafe. With training, this person will be able to deftly answer questions ranging from where we source our beans, to when the company was founded, to how our cups move across the surface of the cafe (magnets!).

During COVID, this person will also be responsible for helping us maintain health and safety of both our employees and customers at the cafe. Through frequent cleaning and sanitization of high-touch surfaces and enforcing the use of masks and social distancing, we hope to create an enjoyable and safe environment for all.
