WatchHouse is a group of specialty Coffee Houses located in iconic neighborhoods across London and New York. We are growing our team in New York with locations in Fifth Avenue and the iconic Chrysler Building. With more locations opening this year, this is the ideal role for someone who is looking for a career in coffee. 

We’re searching for a Head Barista to set the standard for coffee excellence in our New York locations. As a leader, mentor, and brand ambassador, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest quality coffee, inspiring your team, and driving an unmatched guest experience.

What You’ll Do 

• Set the tone for hospitality – Create an atmosphere where guests feel welcomed and regulars feel at home. 

• Mentor and develop your team – Provide coaching and support to elevate barista skills and performance. 

• Lead engaging coffee trainings – Run inspiring sessions to foster curiosity and passion for Modern Coffee. 

• Maintain coffee excellence – Ensure every cup meets WatchHouse’s exceptional quality standards. 

• Stay ahead of the game – Keep up with evolving recipes, and seasonal offerings. 

• Manage daily operations – Oversee stock, ordering, and wastage management for smooth service. 

• Troubleshoot and maintain equipment – Ensure all machines are running perfectly and escalate issues when needed. 

• Represent WatchHouse – Be a key player in Head Barista meetings, sharing insights and driving improvements. 

What We’re Looking For 

• A passionate and confident leader with a deep love for specialty coffee. 

• 3+ year’s experience in specialty coffee. 

• A strong communicator who thrives in mentoring and coaching others. 

• A team player who brings energy, positivity, and inspiration to the workplace. 

• A calm and collected problem-solver who excels under pressure. 

• A detail-oriented professional with high standards in cleanliness, drink quality, and organization.
